I see mention of the prices above, has it been noticed that they're all cheaper this year by £100 except the Pro Max. But the base Pro Max now has 256Gb rather than 128Gb and it's the same cost as last year.

Yeh same, the global volume control is great. I’ve never thought I need individual app control.

In iOS you set ringer volume in the settings with mute switch to turn it on or off and then media controls with the rocker on the left side.

What more could you possibly want?
 
I'll be upgrading my XS to a 15 Pro. I have had it since launch, it's done me well. I'm sure it cost me the same back then at £999.

I pre-ordered my XS, but not sure what to do this time. I am not back in the UK until October.

Will there be stock mid October or should I order now? I'm assuming the times of phones being out of stock are a thing of the past?

I guess so as before most people upgraded every year to get actually good upgraded features, not the trickle we are used to now (not just Apple)
