I am only upgrading to the 15 pro (from a 13 pro) because it’s a work perk. If it was my own money I would be waiting. New features seem to be incremental at best, will need a few model release cycles to amount to anything worth the upgrade IMO.

Yup, been that way for a while now.
I still remember the golden era of the iPhone - starting from the iPhone 1 to the 5, everyone every year wanted the new model, people would get the new model each year for those first 5 or 6 years. This was because each year Apple was able to deliver a huge list of upgrades and new features that made people want to upgrade, but starting with the iPhone 5, Apple hit the wall as they'd already done all the low hanging fruit and so innovation rapidly slowed down and for the first time since the iPhone was invented, consumers started saying "nah, I'll wait for next year" and now we're in 2023 and it's become "nah, I'll wait a few years"

That's the same for literally all tech though, everything is just incremental, for phones, cars, cameras, graphics cards, computers, TV's etc all the massive year on year increases were done ages ago.
I mean I just switched from a LG C9 OLED to the LG G3 OLED and yes whilst I can notice the changes and I'm happy with my purchase, I could see someone else who owns the C9 thinking they will wait a few more years. and that's a 4 year jump in TV's.

I think every hands on of the new Finewoven cases have suffered from lint/dirt trapped in the weave which seems difficult to just brush off with a hand

I’m upgrading from 13 pro and I feel it’ll be a small upgrade. Doesn’t bother me that much to be fair. Tech lately has “peaked” per se until some technology breakthrough happens. They could’ve done 120hz on 15 non pro but that would’ve killed the pro sales. Obvious why they didn’t. Other than that really, I’m upgrading because I like new shiny toys. That’s it. My 13 pro is still smashing through everything, only battery has got worse. I could just replace it but meh.

Or, don't use a case and have a beautiful phone. All cases are ugly.
Pretty much nails it on the head. I get a new phone every year as in the grand scheme of things it barely costs me anything due to work. Ipads/watches/mp can last years and years.
So Mujjo cancelled and refunded my order through their website, and the case from Amazon arrived today!
It looks lovely, just like an Apple leather case. The Mujjo branding at the bottom is more subtle than I was expecting, so that’s a bonus.
It is big though compared to my XS, going to take some getting used to the Max size.

I’m going to go against the grain on it but the pictures seemed to vary how they looked so went the Apple shop to see in person. I think they look nice and they feel nice too.
Longevity, we’ll see. But that’s true for almost all cases.
for sure, but I have an older phone and it still doesnt feel that big. Especially on some of the key things I was looking forward to like better battery life and faster charging.
I will wait until the reviews and proper analysis is out though I guess
