I mean I just switched from a LG C9 OLED to the LG G3 OLED and yes whilst I can notice the changes and I'm happy with my purchase, I could see someone else who owns the C9 thinking they will wait a few more years. and that's a 4 year jump in TV's.

Hey mate, I've got a c9 as well and have also been thinking of upgrading to the G3. Is the difference in brightness very noticeable? Is there any other features that feels like an improvement? Thanks

Honestly depends how much you notice stuff, you get people that can’t notice the difference between 30 and 60 fps or people that don’t notice promotion on iPhones, if so you might not notice much..

I can definitely notice the HDR highlights are better, colours are better, I like the new UI features like the VRR menu and also I have the latest Apple TV so QMS is nice to avoid some screen blanking. Also filmmaker mode.

I also really prefer the actual design of the TV, the C9 having a really thin top part always worried me when having to handle it.

Like I said some people like me notice the differences and are happy, others won’t and would want to wait a few more years.

Going to cancel my order with Apple for 15 Pro Natural and gone with Box as they offered 36 month interest free with PayPal, just means I don't have to open another credit account with Barclays as I already have PayPal credit. Had to swap from natural to black but once I put a case on it wont been seen anyway.
 
Ordered and very happy with this years iPhone hence upgraded from a 12. What’s a good case for the 15 pro people , I was looking at casekoo / spigen , just want a plain black case.

I always used to use these when I had a case, ultra thin so adds no bulk to the phone.

Just checked the site and if someone were to order a pro max in natural grey 256gb today, then the delivery date would be 20 November

That means there is a 2 month queue

Anyone else wish they went for a coloured/orange action button for the Pro's? They must be saving that for the Ultra :p

I have to agree, it does not look good, but he is aiming for quite a niche section of users here, vast majority of iPhone users will not care and will not go the extremes that he does with the cameras and have the expectations that he has about the details.

he’s not wrong about what he said bar the pixel binning. That’s not exactly how it works.. the images will have more “information” by default so he’s not right about that. The rest is apple way, it’s not new and I don’t think anyone has been surprised. MKBHD made a video a while ago about the whole industry and the conclusion is simple, all companies hold something back. The reason is so they have something “new” next year. The issue comes from the fact that tech used to improve at a crazy rate but has slowed down so they’re having to hold on to what we’d think are basic things. What android does for e.g.

Could they release a pro with those cameras and proper zoom? Yes. Would they rather release it next year and claim it as “new” ? Yup. It’s all a business.

I've gone for the black, that looks like the blue. Is it just the blue that suffers the marks?

However, as much as I'd like to have the phone naked I just can't risk it, mine will be going in a Mous case from day one. I did the same with my XS and the case has done me well surviving plenty of drops over the years.
