Anyone else’s order just stuck on preparing to ship ?

Completely normal and happens every year. It ships when it ships and it arrives when it arrives, don't fret about it.
There's a lot of background activity going on which Apple don't share with the end user, such as it being moved from China to Syncreon in the UK after it's been made if not already in stock.

Thanks, just seemed strange, could have sworn it shipped long before this time when I ordered the iPhone 13, seems I remembered incorrectly.
Yes, but why would it say shipped yet? It’s Tuesday? I’d be expecting it to say shipped either late tomorrow or Thursday….
Mine still says 2–9 October, but I have a new pair of AirPod Pros coming on Friday so at least I have that to look forward to.

that's what I'm thinking. Mine is due 22nd so I expect it to leave tomorrow or Thursday.

Mine is saying "Preparing to Ship" and has been since i ordered. I dont expect it to be delivered till the 22nd so i would say it would be in that state until it ships which will most likely be wed/thurs.

If its coming from China? By the sounds of it the tracking only starts when its left Syncreon. I am sure I got tracking from China on other Apple products, maybe I’m imagining things. More curious than anything.

Got my order in for the Natural Titanium Pro around 13:30 and got an arrival date of 2nd to 9th October.
Not sure if these delivery dates are estimates so could it be sooner?
I think in recent years it has been a bit sooner, but I still wouldn't expect it before the end of next week at the very earliest.
I ordered a 15 pro max silicone case, that was shipped on the opening pre order day, and received the following day, that was shipped from Syncreon. Surely these phones will now be at Syncreon….
Hope so... leaving for Spain on the 11th so would be nice to get it sooner.
"Best camera yet in an iPhone" and "Best battery life yet in any iPhone" are almost certainly going to appear, despite the fact it's basically the same phone again and the battery life figures are the same.
I've got a 15 Pro Max ordered but I'm under no illusions - I know that after about 10 minutes it'll feel just like my 14 Pro Max and I won't be able to tell the difference
