I got a text about 10 minutes ago saying it would be delivered between 1-2pm.

I also got a text from DPD saying the Lego I ordered won’t be here until 5:30-6:30pm. I wonder why it’s so late. :p

Yea always been the case, this is why I typically go white for my phones. Doesn't show marks/dust/fingerprints as much as darker colours.

natural apparentely is the best for hiding the prints. I Got natural coming today but it'll be in a case so make no difference really. Only gone for "colour" because why not and just in case I decide to go case-less in the future.

The same was said about the shiny edges of the 13 and 14. After a few seconds of noticing the fingerprints, nobody ever cared about it again.

Another non issue for @Grim5 to post loads of links about.
 
Yeah I wouldn't say it's any worse than my 14 Pro Max. That's only been out of the case for a few minutes for me to take my SIM out (can't be bothered to move to esim) and I'd almost forgotten just how much of a fingerprint magnet that is.

Thanks. Just home now as I had some shopping to do. Decided to finally sort out an eSIM so that meant half an hour in the three shop.

I wasn't around at 1pm last Friday sadly, but even then I can't be bothered with the huge internet bundle against others and the bots. I'm happy to go down to the store and sit outside for a few hours to get the phone - that way i'm not waiting in all day for a courier that might or might not be any good, i'm not messing around sending old trade ins off etc.

Setting up mine now, the EE sim transfer worked first time via Quick Start unlike last year which is very convenient. This phone is seriously nice!

Clearly others had different experiences but my order went through fine at 1310ish and is out for delivery now. 0 issues ordering through apple. Amazon etc had plenty of stock too.

I can see this as being a positive. I’m just sitting around waiting (watching breaking bad) for DPD to get the finger out and text me. I knew it was going to be a nightmare as soon as I seen it was them.

Hate shopping and going in the shops so it’s a fine balance between the two. Either way you have to wait I guess.
 
After being messed about by both Sky and Tesco I managed to get one from 3 in store they had 1 that was reserved. Got natural titanium which is a lovely colour and the thing is so light compared to my 13 Pro Max

DPD are also absolutely dreadful since the pandemic for me. Then again I live in a flat between two shops and most couriers don't want to spend ten seconds looking for my front door.

Yes, it's less than ideal to sit outside the store but it guarantees me a phone, the trade in is processed immediately, and I don't have to worry all day that the courier will have a brain aneurysm fifty feet from my house.

While I’m late to this, I’ve had it before and it’s been because it’s two separate drivers.

Sometimes things get loaded on different vans even if they’re to the same address.
