Guy at works had a DPD notification for his 15 Pro Max..
The more I look at the 15's, the more I think I'll wait for the 16....
 
So i’m stood outside the Exeter store. Have been since quarter to four.

Luckily there’s walk in stock to go around. Just another hour and i’ll be walking away with a 256 Pro Max in Titanium.
 
Managed to get a 15 Pro in Natty 256 for pickup tomorrow at MK. They only had 1 slot today at school run time. So will be sending my white pro back to Box, much prefer the Natty colour.
 
People queue for phones in 2023?
I mean I get why people did, when the new phone was worth upgrading from even the previous gen. But these days, I only really get people upgrading from much older versions.

I think the last thing I ever queued for to get it at launch was Call Of Duty Modern Warfare II, back in like 2009 or something.
 
Think the last phone I queued for was the iPhone 5 and even then I only arrived an hour before the O2 store opened. Used to hate not knowing if I was even going to get a phone but fortunately I did but after that I've just never bothered.

I feel for the couriers today as they're going to have a crap day. Can tell they're making a start early - DPD never usually deliver here before 12 ish but my delivery slot is between 8 and 9 today which is pretty much unheard of for me.

It doesn't make that much difference to them, compared with what was Black Friday week and the two weeks prior to Christmas, this is one product from one company - the reason you won't see couriers before 12 is because they are a paid premium service, pre-noon,. pre-10, pre-9, etc. They can cost 2-10x as much as a slot chosen to fill a gap.

Must just go by area, my DPD deliveries are always between 9-10am even with free shipping.
 
Dpd are weird. My pro max is out for 11:30-12:30 but the same driver is then delivering my wife’s pro at 5:30-6:30

Is he just going to wait on my drive for the 6 hours? I guess he could deliver some other parcels in the mean time if he wanted to.
