Just curious, other than it being a nice to have, what do people genuinely need Wifi 7 speeds for on a phone? I've only got Wifi 6 gear and I can pull about 700Mbit on speed tests on my iPhone - despite it not maxing my connection out, I can't say it's holding me back at all. Only advantage I can think of is copying ProRAW videos etc off the phone which isn't something I personally do anyway. For a laptop it's a different story of course, but I'm just curious why people need over gig speeds on a phone.

It’s for my iPad mainly, I do pretty much everything. I’d say 99% of stuff on my iPad and iPhone now.
The ability to move everything around, plus it just being rapid and just better is a huge factor.
We probably said that for all generations of it. Why would you need 300m on a mobile….
I think my 15 Pro will have to go back. I can’t look at it without feeling sick. Really disappointed because the phone is amazing, it’s a beautiful piece of tech but what’s the point if I cant keep it. I’ve tried everything, even using it in black and white.
Regrettably the only iPhone left that uses LCD is the SE3. It’s going to be a big downgrade but I’m such a fan of iOS not sure what else to do. Grrrr.

Have you tried turning off pro motion?
If you look under the accessibility tab there are a few options you can play around with regarding brightness, white point etc. May or may not help but worth a look.
Yeah, I never used it on my 13 Pro either makes me sick as heck.

I just seem incredibly sensitive to all screens these days. It’s a shame as I love technology but my eyes and my brain don’t.
Do delivery times get brought forward? Ordered Wednesday for delivery 1st Nov but it’s been in stock instore a mile up the road so I’m tempted to cancel and go collect if it doesn’t.

Yes, they tend to over extend the delivery times so you’re delighted when it turns up early!
It’s frustrating isn’t it. For some strange reason the 13 Pro doesn’t cause me to feel ill like turn14/15 Pro do. That’s with ProMotion enabled.

You’d likely adjust to it eventually, I remember when I first got my LG C9 OLED upgrading from Plasma, gave me headaches for a few weeks then I adjusted and no problems again, upgraded to a G3 and still no issues.

Well after having my 15 pro max titanium blue(512gb) for just over a week now, and coming from a 13 pro max. I love the dynamic island, Love the action button, it is defiantly a bit more nippy around the OS. The camera is defiantly an improvement over the 13 pro max.
I know it's an ios 17 thing but the quiteness of the notifications volume is way to low. Hopefully, that will get fixed tomorrow with the new iOS 17.1.
I have not had any of the reported problems(touch wood).
TBH USB C is lost on me. i only ever charge my phone via MagSafe. so i have got a USB C plug at the bottom of my phone. i did the same for the 13 pro max. stops Fluf and Gunk from going into the port.
As soon as i took it out of the box i put a screen protector on it and it's in a case.
All in all, i am happy bar of the low volume of notifications.

I’m still none the wiser what I want to use the action button for. I basically have my phone on silent all the time. Much prefer the vibration in the pocket or watch.

At work, I have my phone on silent. at home etc I do not. even though I have an Apple watch which is silly really lol, Just habit i guess.
