Are you getting an iPhone 15?

The move to USB-C from a charging perspective is fantastic. I was away for work last week and realised I had only packed my laptop power adapter. Being able to fast charge my 15PM with my Dell adapter was so convenient, and a great relief!

Some users on Reddit report burn in

Looks really bad, never seen such bad burn in before so assume it's some random defect

You actually get different types of burn in and this one may not be caused by long exposure to static elements, the phone is only out for a month, there may just be something wrong with the panel causing the pixel to rapidly degrade, the second photo seems to support that given the shape of the shadowing

It's not very common so no one here may have it.
That being said I did see a post from one user Reddit user who did not know their phone was affected until they took the test

Ordered a 256GB natural Pro, expected 30th October direct from Apple… anyone seen delivery windows shrink at all?

Not bothered about a wait either way though!
And accidentally grabbed a Pixel 8 Pro in the meantime. Stuff it, may as well run the two.

Still no early delivery on the fruit themed fondle phone though.

Had anyone bought an iPhone in Singapore for use in the UK?
They're the same price in SGD as in GBP, so a £1399 15 pro max is about £840.

I know they're unlocked these days but anything else to consider? Presumably apple care etc is worldwide and warranty?
Cheers

How are you seeing such a big price difference?

I compared the iPhone 15 Pro 256GB on the Singapore and UK stores and there was a £16 difference.

Are you claiming the tax back in Singapore or something?

Well the phone is 1399 SGD on their site. (15 pro max 512)
That's currently about £840.
Unless I'm hugely mistaken somehow.

Maybe I have been actually. I did try t access the Singapore apple site from Slovenia, but I'm sure it showed as that price. But just checking now it's 2319 S$, which makes it £9 cheaper.
D'oh!

Would the always on display increase the risk of burn in? I have just turned mine off as i'm not sure it really adds much value for me personally and would rather have that little bit more battery life.

Faulty screen panel I bet. Can happen with any device but rare. Nothing I would worry about.
