I feel dirty that I’m in a queue
Are the Apple Genius Hype Beasts there making sure you're all shouting and screaming like little girls at an NSync concert so it's just like it is in the Apple promo vids? Or is it a bunch of middle aged dudes standing around awkwardly looking at their phones after the initial 'Alright mate?' to the guy in them after first arriving?![]()
Really hate the cult like status Apple has
I didn’t even say hello to anyone in the queue.
You realise they all seed employees into the crowds to do this right? The press at the events are too busy blogging to cheer. The round of applause after every single sentence during the reveal speech thingy was a tad annoying.
DPD apparently. Between 6am and 10pm. Great!
Are you at least going to walk out of the store with the box in your hands, raised above your head like a trophy so you can show to the world that you're so proud you managed to battle and survive an orderly que of 40 people to get a hold of a launch day device?!

eSIM is physically soldered to the circuit board in the phone, Virgin don’t support eSIM, only EE and Vodafone.Does anyone know yet what the situation is with the e-sim?
If I bought the XS though Virgin for example (use them for personal), could I buy an EE e-sim and transfer my work number over?

I can't stand the reveals mostly because of the crowd. The one that really annoyed me was when I got the iPhone 3G. It couldn't send MMS to begin with and when Apple finally added the feature the crowd went nuts as if it was a brand spanking new innovative feature.
