Well I like it. It’s taking so getting used to...I pick it up and the first thing I try to do is put my thumb over the home button

Annoying that my case wasn’t delivered today so I am being ultra careful with my £1500 phone till it turns up!

The screen is gorgeous. I was worried about the previous problems of the X having issues with blue and pink tints. But can confirm I’ve not seen any such issues (even in white or grey backgrounds) the screen is incredible.

Which did you get?

I got the Xs max today coming from the X as the mrs having that. Wow what a screen love it. I use to have iPhone plus so use to the size of the phone but this feels bigger prob cos of the screen just need to get use to it.

First impressions are that the max might just sway me back to iOS! I've set the text size to smallest but wish it would carry through everywhere, the text in control centre is still comically big.
I've installed just one app so far (Feedly) and I'm happy with the density of the text of the screen and how much is displayed.

If you bought an XS instead of a Max then seriously consider swapping it. I hated the X last year because of its rubbish resolution and small screen but this year the Max has made all the difference.

Rubbish is harsh. Higher res than any previous iPhone, lower than say a Galaxy S8 but wouldn’t say it’s rubbish.

Just one thing I notice on the max when we put it landscape mode the bar icon doesn’t adjust like it does on the plus

I jumped from an 8 to an Xs. Everything is just more fluid with the gestures rather than the button. Tbh. I thought I’d miss Touch ID ... but here I am wondering why I was ever worried about losing it. Face ID is absolutely seemless and hasn’t failed me a single time yet.

Not so sure on the polished edges of the iPhone.. wish they had stayed brushed.

It’s amazing. And so damn fast.

I have it in a case. But was trying to get the fingerprints off it before putting it in the case. And was having trouble

Yeah ! Just listening to a few tunes now. They seem a large improvement over my 8. Even at half volume it’s quite loud

Like how the screen protectors for the Xs actually cover slightly more of the screen so I don’t get the horrible rainbow effect anymore.

I had 6+>7+>X>XS Max - always liked the plus seized phones for more content (features normally) and better battery life.

I was disappointed when they didn’t release a plus size X last year.

Won’t let me reserve one in store, keeps saying try back after 6...not sure if that am or pm. And like hell am I going to wake up that early to try and reserve a phone lol

What's amusing is Feedly isn't even updated for the Max screen resolution so is displaying the same exact amount of content as a X would as it's a zoomed screen resolution.

Yep! Came from a 7.

FaceID has blown me away, using touchid to unlock my iPad now seems old fashioned! Camera is fantastic, and the extra screen space for not much increase in phone size, is amazing. Very pleased.

It's quite incredible how much bigger the screen is in a body not much larger than the iPhone 8.
