Wow nearly 0830 on launch day and still most of the iPhone 8 models are available for 22 Sept? Either they've actually made enough this year or everyone is waiting for the X? Pretty sure everything since the 5 has been completely sold out by now.

Or perhaps they're not overly impressed with what the 8 offers over the 7 and aren't prepared to pay silly money for the 10 so are doing nothing for now.

You're still on a rant about the price of the X? If you're not interested in the phone, why are you posting in here ?

People will spend their money however they want.
 
I normally go for a Black/Space Grey - But I'm liking the look of the Silver version of this, especially with the black front.

The problem is I have no alternative. I'm sad and rich and spend all day on my phone, what the hell else can I get for at least £999? I've looked at the Lamborghini branded and Vertu sets, but I prefer iOS.

The sort of people who will be ordering the minute the system goes live will be waiting for the X. Mark my words. They'll sell like hot cakes and it will be a struggle to get one.

Anyway, most of the 8's are on backorder now.

A female mate of mine laughed at me for wanting the iPhone X and the fact it was a £1000 phone. Soon worked out that:

1) her S8 on contract is costing her more than an iPhone X 256GB on the Apple Payment plan plus my £20 deal with EE over a year.
2) she has a handbag worth about £5k or something stupid that she's not used in 2 years.

I then laughed.

Comparing what the 8 offers over the 7 is silly. The average consumer upgrades their phone every 2.5 so most people are going to be comparing what the 8 offers over the 6 or 6S.
 
No it's not, if I'm on a 6 and in the market for an 8, why wouldn't I compare the two and see what the 8 offers over the 7, if it's things I don't care about, I'd go a 7 and save some cash.
