***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

That's worrying then! Perhaps it has a fault

reviews were saying it is louder than Gnex...so it cant be right...

Mine seems really quiet, might be because I had it in my jean pocket, when its on my desk it seems fine.

I'm used to an iPhone 4S, where the speaker is on the bottom so holding the phone kind of amplifies the sound, where it blocks it out on the Nexus 4.

When I was testing the ringtones too, it seemed that the rear of the phone vibrated quite a bit (maybe the volume was too high for media to be played).

These are all just first impressions, the phone is superb either way :).

Called local large out of town carphone warehouse. They haven't seen one yet, wouldn't like to commit to when and price as they feel not getting reliable info!

Contract with Tmobile runs until Feb but their early upgrade comes in Dec.

Was planning to use this on existing contract.

Tempted to either see what Tmobile offer me for S3 or note 2, or maybe keep my crap phone and use Nexus 7 (if can get one of those!) for my email etc!

Good luck, t-mobile have been diabolical for me. I've been with them for 2 years and retentions had the most care-free attitude. The retentions offered me exactly what was on their websites; over-inflated prices on 3 occasions.

They really don't seem to care anymore. Needless to say I'm not staying with them.

They removed them from sale anyway, only available on contract now.

I went into two EE stores, Virgin and Phones4U. Neither shop knew what the Nexus 4 was. After searching their system they said they didn't have any available for contract or payg.

O2 were the only shop I found with them in, lacking a demo model however.

Probably because as someone said earlier in the thread that O2 have exclusivity on the nexus4 for a month iirc.

EDIT: Beaten like an Al Qaeda terrorist:p
