Its ok now I have updated the firmware for the router and reset to factory settings and it connected first time. Need to try with security on now though

Just to say Ive got a N4 now with that router and its fine, connected straight out of the box with no hassle, and so have my other phones and laptops - though like you I know I need to replace the router at some point, its been going for many many years now!

Alos How do I transfer music from my PC to the phone. I have tried copying files over and its doesnt do anything and also tried syncing with media player. Nothing there either.

Amazing router Dual band (It may be an over kill if you don't need all the features) but personally with NAS, Media server and loads of devices connected etc its amazing in terms of performance and wifi coverage, not the cheapest though.

Coping files over should do it just drag and drop on your phone just go to Google music/media player and it should scan and display the audio files
Why doesn't this phone offer you the ability to reset the phone when you hold down the power button? Seems like a schoolboy error missing that functionality out

These are my battery stats from today, not as impressive as some others who are getting one day + ! 
Does anybody know any ways that I could improve these? I have turned all the mobile broadcasts off. Battery was at 6% when these shots where taken.

Nothing is happening regarding copying music or pictures. The progress bar pops up and hangs, no progress at all. The music folder has the albums folder there but no music. Its been 'copying' for 5 minutes now.
Ya by default in stock rom there isn't a reboot option.
Seems like more of a connection issue, try a different usb port.

Thank goodness for that, after the fiasco they made of 'selling' the Nexus 4... and the Nexus 7 also!
Just for those buttons specifically? Pretty sure you can do it in the sound setting but might turn it off for the whole UI.
