***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

These Bugatti slip pouches, i'm having a hard time finding one that actually states it will properly seat a Nexus 4. Does it have the same dimensions as any other phones or?

I'm looking at one here that states "HTC One X, One XL, Sensation XL, Titan Motorola Razr Maxx, Razr XT910 LG P940 Prada 3.0 Samsung i9250 Galaxy Nexus, i9300 Galaxy S III, i9300 Galaxy S3 Sony Xperia S" but the item description pretty much matches the ones that have been linked in this thread so far...

You are thanking Google for providing you no idea when you should expect the goods you paid for?

No I was expecting a 5-6 week wait,I ordered on the 4th December. So to receive before January is good. Google have only been poor with their order system. I would blame LG a computer2000 for the lack of supply and poor delivery. Also so far I have a free nexus 7 so I can't really fault google.

Though do we know its definitely LGs fault? I'm sure I read somewhere that they blamed Google as they simply supplied the sort of quantities that Google requested, who knows...

But hey, as much of a shambles as this has been its only really the 3-5 people who were screwed, most of the 1-2 week people got theirs on time (just), and now 4-5 and 5-6 week people are getting theirs early, so makes sense that you're happy. :)

There's a delay on my nexus 4 after I pick up a call, about 3 seconds where the other person can't hear me, meaning they don't hear me say hello. It's really very annoying. Anybody know a fix? When I buy the latest smartphone I don't expect it to have issues like that.

Anyone bought one and fancy selling it? My aging Galaxy S (i9000) is on its death bed and I think I've got my heart set on a Nexus 4 now!

So if anyone has one surplus to their requirements i'll gladly take it off you :)

Picked up my nexus 4 this morning. First impressions are very positive! Coming from an iPhone 4S, and long time iOS user. The build quality is what I most worried about, however it really is a good quality product. Thing that supprised me the most was how light and quick the phone feels! The reviews are really not joking when they talk about how fast this phone is!

No regrets so far, this really is almost as well built as an iPhone. still getting used to android, live the swipe keyboard, lots of androids features are new to me, still getting used to working out what apps to get and the reason for things like new launchers etc.

Good luck to those still waiting for deliveries!

Well mine was delivered this morning according to the TNT tracking system, to a neighbours house as I'm currently away visiting family. So speedy delivery considering it was shipped yesterday, can't wait to get home and have a play with it. Hope the neighbours are enjoying it lol.

lol ^^

I still am waiting to see one IRL. I want to know how "washed out" (which is a phrase that has been used quite a lot) the screen looks compared to an OLED one.

I'd say this and my nexus 7 are much closer to my IPS monitor for colours then a oled screen. Oled tend to o be too bright on the colours and people get used to then see a IPS mobile panel and think its washed out.

Looks very similar to my Dell 2407 / U2410, so I'm happy!

Full screen browsing is insanely good. I just need a way of getting back to my home screen easily. There doesn't seem to be a shortcut in Browser. I don't want to install another browser either.

Damn it google where is the stock of this thing! By the time they get more, something better is going to be out at this rate!

Colours are fine IMO - They don't quite 'pop' much compared to the best LCD's (IP5/HOX) but they're decent enough. Comparable to my Dell U2711.

Black and viewing angles are where the Nexus 4 falls quite short to the people who care for this sort of thing. OLED sets the benchmark here.

My tests below:

GNex / Nexus 4 / SGSIII
