Three!! I hope you have less fun that I did. I'm on a three 30 day rolling contract. I rang up to say I'll need a microsim, they charged me £5 and cut me off the network until the microsim arrived.. Other vendors (Vodafone I know do this) will send you the microsim and let you call them to activate it when you are ready not just Bum you and expect you to pay for the pleasure.
Gimps.

I should add it was 4 days before the sim arrived and I could make and recieve no calls, no texts, no data. It was like being ported for 4 days.. retards.

Sounds crap.

But on their site you can choose which SIM you want to add to your basket.

Also, it says 30p per min for voicemail on Three, I thought it was free (I'm going onto the Essential Internet SIM 600 - 12month plan)?

I was gonna try putting a new kernel on due to the bad battery life as yesterday I lost 21% (79% left) in 11hrs and hadn't touched the phone at all. So I charged it again and put JuiceDefender on it and left it over overnight for 12hrs untouched and the battery is currently at 94%. Not bad at all, I'll just wait for the next google update and use JuiceDefender in the meantime.

Hmmmm... Not quite sure in that case!! Maybe they just changed everyone's status to show shipping as whenever their estimate was (i.e.e mine was 5-6 weeks which tallies to today-ish). Was your initial estimate 3-4 weeks?

I will see what happens today and tomorrow and maybe call them after that.

I was originally 4-5 weeks, so in theory i should be able to claim the delivery charge back.

Yeah, think I'll do the same as it would be a pain to have it arrive with no SIM card to go in (unless I hack my Orange one up with scissors

)

Has anyone tried the new paranoid android rom? The pie controls look very very good, never been interested in a custom rom on my phone before having previously put cm on my tablet but I'm getting really tempted by the new pa!

Gonna do a nandroid shortly and try the new PA, so will report back when i have it on.

Yup been using it since yesterday, The pie controls are cool but there is still a lot of work to be done, But they work perfectly for games etc

As I say all the time brilliant ROM

I am just waiting for someone to compile PA, AOKP together onto a CM base as someone has done on the Galaxy Nexus I believe. That would be beyond awesome.

I would build it myself, but I have another project to do..

Haha there is so much choice! Like I've said itching to try the new pa. Used cm on my tablet and heard aokp is good as well but honestly to me they've never really added that much I can think of compared to rooted stock with custom kernel and a few other tweaks. I'll wait for a few more reports and perhaps give it a go!

Cool, I'm hoping to get a Nexus 4 at the end of the month and would like to lose the buttons at the bottom to get a bit of a screen space bump, this looks like a nice solution.

Yeah that was the first thing I was looking for when I got the N4, I feel the nav buttons are a little bit too big on stock personally. Very glad that PA came along quickly & let me go back to tabui.

Looking forward to trying that though when it is released.
