Supply should get back to "Normal" mid Feb: http://www.androidauthority.com/nex...ld-out-popularity-explained-lg-france-148214/
Secondly, a case recommendation, there seem to be so many but I'd like one that's hard plastic, not too thick and is either just a bumper so you can see everything or a case that doesn't double the depth of the phone. Don't want a flip one either.

Just ordered my Rearth Ringke case, just need the phone now![]()
Looks an alright case, don't like the open edges though.
Gorilla glass 2 for the entire front and normal glass for the entire back.
Source? Could have sworn that LG and google confirmed that it was just plain glass when someone tweeted them about the back being gorilla glass 2.
Many people are reporting scratches on the back.
I know, I have seen that video and every review has stated that it is gorilla glass 2, but later on LG or/and google tweeted that it wasn't gorilla glass 2, trying to find it now.
Also the nexus one does have gorilla glass.
You shouldn't rely on what it "feels" like as the GS 3 has gorilla glass 2 yet feels completely different to the one X GG 2 screen.
Source for Nexus One having GG? Everything I have ever read has stated it does not, as do the many many scratches on my screen suggest it does not.
Also car keys didn't scratch my Samsung galaxy spica screen, which wasn't gorilla glass.
Knives, keys etc. won't scratch gorilla glass but sand/grid will easily scratch any type of glass (that is mainly how people get these scratches on their screens). I doubt the damage is coming from the phone just sitting on a table etc. unless they are sliding them across and there is a bit of grid or something underneath.
