***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

It doesn't seem to be doing anything

There's another way to do this. 1. Settings 2. Mail Contacts Calendar 3. Add Account 4. Microsoft Exchange 5. Enter in your Gmail account info, click "next" 6. Under "server" enter "m.google.com" 7. Leave the domain blank 8. Under "username" enter your full Gmail Address 9. Click "next" On the next page you will see the option for "Contacts" to be checked on. Once you save you will see your Gmail contacts under your contact list. You email will be synced up as well.

Finally got it! Thanks for the help mate :).

Also I have noticed that the Stock apps like...Google Play & Gmail all have Updates. Surely there is away to update all the apps on the phone at the same time?

There is usually an update all button, but if an app has new permissions it has to be individually so you're aware of the change.

Thank you.
Great news! Your order on Google Play has shipped.

Ordered at 17.10

Email confirms its a nexus 4, shows the nexus 4 and a nexus 7 on my play order history though. Hope I don't get another 7 instead of the phone!

Mine was showing an estimated shipping date of Feb 13th, but I just got a dispatch email! Very happy, though I wanted to get a case before I received the device itself, plus I haven't even switched networks to GiffGaff yet for unlimited data. Oh well! :D

Anyone have any idea as to when klp will be shown of?

Think I will wait to see what it will be like before I do anything....

Mine's finally been dispatched! :D Ironically enough it was marked as I went to see if I could change the delivery address since no one's going to be home next week now...

Most likely at I/O in May. You thinking of getting one will match your user name :-P

As others have said there is a 99.9999% chance it will be shown and released on the 15th May at Google I/O.

They tend to release a new piece of hardware at the event too, supposedly the follow-up to the Nexus 7 is on the cards. Perhaps news on the Googlerola X phone too, we shall see.

Going to be interesting to see what is next for Android! :)

Possibly...... :p ;)

Fed up with OEM's and their slow/crappy support now, still no sign or word of 4.2 for any phone afaik yet it is a very minor update (like 3-5 new features that can be found on the market and long before 4.2 came around :p)

Thanks for the quick replies :)

Yup I am most looking forward to seeing the new android version and device(s), if it is a big update like what ICS was then I think that will be me 100% sold on the nexus 4!

Well historically all named releases have been pretty major, Google don't name releases unless they feel they majorly change the OS.

ICS was responsible for the new beautiful holo theme and the app design framework, Jelly-bean made Android buttery smooth etc etc.

Safe to say whatever they do it will be pretty big.
