LOL youre an idiot to think not knowing when a delivery is going to turn up outside of a 2 week window isnt inconvenient, let alone knowing if its actually been ordered in the first place. First online company Ive had to call to check that Ive placed an order. Googlefail...

Just in case anyone was wondering about the keep awake battery issue I had it now all seems ok. The only thing I've changed is my clock widget (Sense Analog Clock).

I'm doing a dry run with only voice enabled to see if any other apps/widgets are causing issues and since taking it off charge 2 days ago the battery has ~70% left.
 
Just received an email to say mine is out for delivery! So much for the expected ship date of feb 13. Ordered Thursday night too...

It doesn't pull photos from Facebook at all due to Google and Facebook squabling over contact data.

If you want Facebook contact photos then you need a third party app to do it, Haxsync is popular but not free, Contact Sync for Facebook is a free option.

Google photos should be there pretty much straight away though.
 
Ordered on the 1st and got it this morning... my Nexus 4 also experienced its first drop too... by the delivery guy! Dropped the phone as he was handing it to me to which he later said "do you know what goes on in the warehouse?" when I appeared annoyed!

Waiting for my case and sim cutter to arrive before I turn it on

how are you guys rooting your nexus 4? I have never rooted a phone before and there fore need some advice which is the best and easiest way to root my new nexus 4

Unlock bootlaoder, flash recovery, install the root .zip via said recovery.
