***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

Nexus 4 or Galaxy S3?

What kind of reply do you expect, asking in this thread... :p

In short:

Nexus 4 main advantages:

Stock Android, considerably cheaper, faster

S3 main advantages:

Far higher potential storage, slightly better camera, battery life a bit better (I believe) and replaceable

HTC One is better than them both, though. Galaxy S4 is being announced soon as well... (couple of weeks or so)

Me too. Hopefully not long as it says estimated ship is less than a week.

If I recall we all had the same message and it was shipped the. next day so cross fingers

Not sure if anyone else had a sniff of the packaging but it was stale - makes you wonder if LG really was holding onto the stock.

I think I will get the Nexus 4 because there is a deal for £18.50 a month, and I don't need much internet or minutes. (100 minutes, 100 mb internet on o2) Do you think that is a good deal, or should I get the Nexus 4 for £21.50 a month, 100minutes, 500mb internet with BT openzone wifi, on o2.

It's better to buy it directly from Google and get a SIM only plan, most likely.

If it has to be one of those, get the second deal, 100MB internet could be a bit problematic.

You will burn through 100mb in no time at all. The best deal you can get is buying the phone outright, then using something like giffgaff £10 a month.

21.50 * 24 months
500mb
100 mins
= £516

Phone = £239.00
£10 * 24 = £240
1GB Internet
250 mins
No contract!
= £479

Why is it better to buy from Google? Also my parents are going to pay monthly and I dont have £239 spare :(

Fair enough, I will probably get that
Also I know that on the GS3 you can cap your data limits so you cant go over, is there something like that on the Nexus
Edit: Did I mention the phone will be 16gb, that is the only variation there is on the site I am looking at, and I though that was a pretty good deal.
