***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

ps3ud0 has a fair point. With iPhone/iPad, you buy an app and it works. The screen elements work properly and everything fits on the screen in an optimal way.
With Android, how many times have you downloaded an app to find that it doesn't render correctly or screen elements are too big/too small or it just plain doesn't work?

A good example would be the eBay app. Try it on an iPad then try it on a Nexus 7. The Android version is horrible to use and it really just a web-app. The iOS version is beautiful and works seamlessly.

An even better example would be Apple maps vs Google maps. It works both ways. iPhone fanboys have such a short memory :(.

All those added manufacturer "features" also come with an inherent delay with Android updates. So pick wisely :)

That's the only issue, at least with a Nexus device your getting quicker updates in expense of certain features, vice versa!

Dog eat dog world, so many users are moaning they've not got the JB update on their HOXs over at XDA saying how it'll be their last HTC phone and such a bit ridiculous!

Just been told by a Google rep that it'll go live at 5PM in the UK on the Play Store.

The above may be a lie, but shhhh don't tell anyone, want to make sure I get one! You can too if you be quiet!

All you sim cutters are confusing me. My network sent me a micro sim 24 hrs after I asked for one at no extra charge.

That is 23 hours and 45 minutes longer than it took me to cut my sim. And if I messed up, I could still have a new sim 24 hours later.

So tempted to pull the trigger, but think i'm gonna be sensible and hold off a week or so to see how initial user reviews go, and general consensus on the phone.
