If the external drive is shown under Disk Utility but is greyed out, then you might be able to mount it using diskutil, ie -So it appears that USB sticks aren't working with Sequoia.

diskutil mountDisk "disk identifier here without quotes"
Also, the 'snap' to screen region is really poorly implemented, bettersnaptool is still way better.

I'm old. I can't imagine a walkman with a USB connection .Ok managed to sort it.. but in searching it appears others have issues too. Also had issues with usb connection for a walkman too.

Having had a quick play on a test bench earlier, 15.1 seems to have solved a lot of the initial issues with 15 although A.I features still seem in beta. The 15.1 RC was seeded yesterday, running it now
All being well should see the final release next week

Is there a way to add a menu bar item for VPN connections? I can't find it but I want to be able to connect and disconnect easier than having to open Settings > VPN all the time. I'm probably being blind.
Oh, awesome! Thank you. That link worked.I can't test it with the work laptop, as we use a specific client which has a menu-bar, but from memory this used to work:
Use the VPN status menu in the menu bar on Mac
On your Mac, use the VPN status menu to quickly connect to or disconnect from a VPN, track connection time, and display status while connecting.support.apple.com
No all been fine here (on an M3 Pro MBP)Is anyone else having issues with the background wallpaper on desktop flicking off for a split second and then coming on every so often? seems no pattern to it at all. Only started since I updated to 15.0.1.
