So its nearly a week and I have had to phone them to ask where my Case is at this point, appently the case is STILL jsut stiiing "open", so no movement at all over a week, and being told typically I will have to wait longer now until they phone me, then if it goes as normal I have to ship it back to them, so god knows how long this will take over all.

Very VERY disappointed/ angry at this point.

I hate that you often have to resort to this, but have you tried bitching on Twitter/Facebook?

Why did you have to phone them. What exactly are you expecting? Repair and return within a week?
It's going to take atleast 2 weeks.

Yes, when its their delivery that smashed it, me providing proof.

Why am i made to be even more inconvenienced by them?

Why did i phone them, perhaps because i was told it never takes more than 4 working days dor them to get back to me, so far its over a week. And for 1k spent, i have a smashed up Pro3, without anyone in MS seemingly even looking into it.

Its a complete disgrace in customer service.
 
My fault, I missed the post about the delivery guy smashing it, thought you were still waiting for it..

Found this message on the their website so you should be alright.

After we have shipped back your Surface Product to you, if it arrives in a damaged condition, you must notify Microsoft of the damage by calling us within two (2) days after you receive it (at the customer service number listed on http://www.microsoft.com/surface/support/contact-us/ for the country where you purchased the Surface Product). If you fail to contact Microsoft regarding any damage to your Surface Product within two (2) days after you receive it, you will be responsible for any damage.
 
Yea I waited a week for the original replacement, it was that one that arrived smashed, with me telling them first the next morning and they have said nothing since.
 
What would that do?

Embarrass them into doing something about it. What happened when you called them and kicked off?

IMO They should be sending you a brand new unit, of at least equal spec and grovelling over backwards to apologise.

MS are touting it as a MacBook Air alternative, but with customer service like this they've got no chance. I got better service from Apple for a laptop that was 18 months outside of any warranty.
 
I dont want to do anythign like that yet as I have to wait the outcome, it could be on Monday the phone back saying they are sending me a brand new one etc.

As i stands from what I got from phoning them, I at least at some point have to send back the broken one, then they send a new one, so thats about another 2 weeks I could see.

Saying that, I have made a word doc with a full time line and summery of conversations had.
 
Surface Pro 2's going for just over £400 at a few places now. Very tempted although i don't really need one! Heading to the states twice next year so thinking it might be worth waiting and picking up a Pro 3 over there.
 
Not sure if this is a Surface or a WoW thread issue.

Playing WoW on my Surface Pro 2 and it runs fine, decent framerate, however when go to move the camera with a bluetooth mouse the camera is jerky and goes all over the place, it does the same with a USB mouse, however if I use hte track pad on the Type cover the camera moves fine.

Any suggestions what to look at?

So, phoned CS again today, and guess what....yea...they have still done nothing with my case, thats well over a week now, and not one thing has been done to sort this, once again, I have been promised I will get some sort of movement by tomorrow.

Wonder how I can shame them for maximum damage now, this is just disgraceful now.
 
Im just waiting to see what they manage by the end of tomorrow then Ill put everything together in a sweet looking image then start posting it about.

Dont really use Twitter though lol

Actually he has jsut tried again, but my phone is putting it straight to voicemail for some reason, I have turned off the block filter off to be sure, not sure why thats happening!?
