Have been meaning to post the question for a while but keep forgetting.

Does anyone find that the "Set time automatically" option doesn't seem to do anything?

I assume this update is for EE handsets only? I flashed mine with the CV-GB variant a while ago. I assume this will get updated but I'm a bit worried it may not happen for a while yet as there are currently no devices sold with this firmware (at least not officially) so no reason for Nokia to release the update.

It does absolutely nothing, in fact in my case I think it does more harm than good. I have had random problems with the handset whereby i would hit the sleep/wake button and nothing would happen and I'd have to do a soft reset. I noticed that this resets the time and date so I thought it may have something to do with the automatic update function so I turned it off. Since then (3 weeks) ago I haven't had a single problem.

The automatic time and date is only supported by specific operators. To be more precise, operators that support NITZ;

- O2
- Tesco
- Giffgaff?
- Vodafone

If you're not on one of those networks, switch it off.

On Orange here do could be the whole EE group.

Useful to know. Thanks.

Just got it on EE, excited! Hope it fixes the battery!

Oh and don't worry if it seems to stick on 'preparing to install update' after downloading - it works in the end.

The update states that you can delete selected browsing history - I can only find the original option to delete all browsing history - am I missing something?

I like how my wireless 'catches' quicker now. Use to take ages for it to connect back to my work's, today, it was unlock phone, and it's connected within a second.
