Does anyone reckon (or better yet know) if I'll be able to swap an unopened Vodafone 920 upgrade at a Vodafone shop for a different coloured one?

I don't see why they wouldn't personally, i imagine its the same as upgrading in store then then coming back 5 minutes later and changing your mind, surely they would swap it?

What's the firmware for the latest update? Still no update for me but realised I have auto updates on when data allows it.

Would auto updates even do OS updates without prompting? Wouldn't it just download and wait for you to OK?

My firmware running portico on Orange is: 1232.5951.1249.1017
OS version number: 8.0.10211.204

What's everyone using for remote desktop access on WP8? I assumed that because there was a W8/RT Teamviewer app that they'd be pushing a WP8 app through soon, but I haven't found anything that suggests that.

Ordered my Rock case, but didn't realise chinese new year starts today. Bugger.

I use PC Remote, search it on market, install it on your pc's and then you are good to go, app is excellent and has many extras like individual app remotes.

Am I the only one having major problems with the latest update on EE / Orange?

My phone updated last week to the below and now just having daily issues.

My firmware running portico on Orange is: 1232.5951.1249.1017
OS version number: 8.0.10211.204

First off if I leave it on charge overnight some mornings my phone is just bricked... none of the buttons respond and only a soft reset sorts it out..

Secondly phone reception has been awful. I keep getting no service for ages in areas I have never had trouble with before and even when I am in an area with reception the phone will not connect back up only turning the phone on and off seems to sort it out.

Had zero problems before the updated.

No issues here - on Orange.

The update has improved things for me.

Mine does this, my first one did it as well before I changed it because of an issue with the proximity sensor. I am convinced it is a software issue. Mine did this before Portico but it seem less frequent after the update.

Mine did this I lasted as long as I could but it seemed to get more often even after portico and multiple hard resets, sent it back yesterday after emailing stephen elop. Hopefully it will come back soon

Just an update on my official cover...received today!

Covers just about every part of the shell with only slight openings showing the original colour. Fit is snug and adds literally no bulk compared to other covers I've tried!

Will certainly order the grey one i linked earlier on in the thread now...very impressed.

Which did you order again?

Although I can see it being handy for HTPCs, I'm actually mainly after an app for remote access from outside my network, which that didn't seem to have? Unless I'm missing something obvious?
