I've got a new problem with my 920. I can use 4G, I can send and receive texts, but I can't make or receive calls. It goes straight to my voicemail on inbound, and all outbound calls are dropped with no rings.

I've tried a hard reboot and soft reboots, checked all my settings, tried flight mode on/off but to no avail. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Dev

LOL WHAT?! surely the contry varient (i.e sim unlocked firmware) would be the FIRST to test it then the specific ones for the network provider?

eessh. politics.

My wife's 920 is getting frustrating, when making or receiving a call for some reason the phone randomly hangs up the call. It happens when the phone is placed to the ear, the sensor should shut the screen off, but it appears it doesn't happen all the time. So the screen stays on, phone touches ear/face and hangs up the call.

Anyone else notice this?

nope.
but do you happen to have a cover/case for it and using it whilst taking the call? Some cases have problems where its touching the screen causing a reaction to happen.

Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes ******* yes.

About bloody time. Now I can justify spending money.
1020 with 1080p screen, quad core and an extra column of tiles please.

The app ecosytem has matured so much in the last couple of months as well.

Iif the leaked gdr3/8.1 is right with the quick access wifi and other settings, extra column of icons etc, ill be over the moon.

Agh, yeah, a high end Windows phone would be nice.
I want one, but I want a really high end phone, so I'm leaning at the Z Ultra.

1020 might be worth a punt though.

When are the next gen WP coming out?

High end ones are when GDR3 comes out, which is before the end of the year.

There is a Nokia announcement is it 29th of August. It's a new device, rumours are either rt8.1 tablet or 6" 1080p quad core phablet, possibly 20mp camera so somewhere between 920 and 1020 camera.
