Would be nice, but it'll be RT. which isn't a bad thing despite media. It's not what I want. If I wanted a direct replacment for the ipad it would almost certainly be an RT model, but as I want a general laptop in tablet form I want an haswell i5 device.

Finally made the jump from iPhone 5 to a Nokia Lumia 925 and I must say I'm loving the device and the wireless charging accessories. Now if we could get the Sky+ and Sky Go apps I'd be a 100% happy customer.

I'm looking forward to what Nokia do with their tablet device. Hopefully it looks as good as the sexy mock up a few pages back and is Qi charging compatible.

Think I found what was murdering my battery, Beem Plus app, its a digitally imported client, very good one as well, but very buggey, wouldn't stop playback and would start up again, its doesn't seem to close down in the background either.

May not be anything, according to this article, which makes sense.
Both the tablet and bandit require software which isn't out for at least two months. So they think its more likely to be a regional phone.

As I know a few of you are clued up FW wise, my mate on Vodafone upgraded her 820 OTA to what she thought was Amber ... the FW says it is but there's no option for turning of the Glance screen? Anyone know what's going on?

If it is amber then you swipe to the right.
Put your finger on the right of the screen and swipe left.
But it looks wrong, doesn't amber separate display and touch.
So display is one, swipe right, you get touch,msipenagain you get glance.

That isn't the right SW name. It should be 3047.0000.1328.xxxx

Can you get a screen shot of the about -> more info screen?

The daft bint gave me the Label ID in Extras & info.

This if her 820s about screen (3047.0000.1328.3012), which I believe is Amber on her UK Vodafone, but there's no Glance Screen or right swipe in Display & Touch.

Thought as much, I did comment on how much I like how Nokia use the settings as apps, I hadn't though of that as a way of doing it, without that it would require an entire new firmware.
