****The Official Note III Thread****

not great signal if I'm honest - but not bad

I get 1-2 bar at work

great signal at home - but often voice cuts out ! (weird)

darn seems further thought needed - mind you the Iphone 4 is pretty old - I would have thought aerial tech has improved since then ?

Is there any way to permanently enable 'desktop view' using the standard Samsung Web browser?

My Google skills are failing me on this fine early morning

Yes this would be very useful to me as well, Chrome still has the stupid bug where text size increases in a webpage for no reason

Wife has got the Note 3 with the Samsung flip case (the one with a window) anyone else have this and use a car mount and if so what one. The mounts I use I think would put to much pressure on the hinges (put the case out of shape) , may not be a solution on this one

I've purchased but am waiting for stock of a tomtom car holder for smartphones. For £19.75 and having Bluetooth built in I think its a bargain. Check that out and see what you think!

Do you have the clip wallet? If so can you let me know how you find it?

Been so impressed with battery life from the Note 3:

Coming from a HTC One X, I'm mighty impressed! That thing would just about manage 4 hours of screen on time, let alone over 2 days!

I reckon it could easily do 10 hours with the screen on all the time.

I have an Nexus 4 the wife has a note 3, the battery life on my N4 is embarrassing in comparison :( Really impressed with the Note 3

Bit of an odd question here, but my note 3 has recently started eating battery like its going out of fashion, checked the battery usage page and Android OS is at the top at 55% with the phone awake for 15 hours and cpu total 7 hours and its using data according to that.

BBS doesnt show anything major, wake lock detector showing samsung push service under cpu wakelocks and wakeup triggers - Anyone ever come across this before? I dont use samsung apps (dont see the point with play store being identical) nor do i use anything like google now or even the maps.

CyanogenMod has solved ALL of my signal problems: my signal is now almost identical to any other phone (e.g. iPhone 4S). Therefore, this is conclusive proof that this is a Samsung software issue which could be resolved. There is hope :).

I can finally keep this phone I think!

Does this affect wireless or only mobile signal ? Also does this apply to Samsung G2

Hmm I'll wait until it's final as I rely on bluetooth audio and full audio capabilities of the hardware on the phone!

Promising though.

I've been using this one for the past few hours and I have to admit, if this is what an early unofficial build will be like, I cannot imagine how much better future builds will be considering this is running ridiculously good.

AOSP + N3 = Perfection!

That's the one I'm running also. I've been running it for 5+ hours with zero system crashes. Obviously a few app crashes are a given. I could honestly just about get away with using this as my daily driver, as I mostly text rather than call.

Just got my Spigen Amour view, oh my friggin god it's awesome!!!

The only down side is that even if you hands are even slightly greasy then it attracts fingerprints like crazy
