****The Official Note III Thread****

Off to Thailand soon and had a look around for pricing, 23, 500 baht (around £470)... so think I will hold off and grab one out there if available if that price holds true.
:D

Now of course you can buy apps like Pages (word) and then store them (word docs) within the programme. However, you do not get access to the file structure.

The only thing you can access via USB is the pictures on your camera. For everything else you have to use itunes

Hmm that's an interesting point. If it's £up to 100 cheaper a month after release then the sensible option would be to get one then and not on release day.

The Note 2 dropped £50 didn't it a couple weeks after release?

Wow... being 2013 and all I find this rather surprising. Maybe that'll be the killer feature of iOS 12 or somthing.

Apps are very heavily sandboxed in iOS they get their own little space to play in and can not interact with other apps, and as said when things are saved in apps they get saved within the app storage which only that app has access too. Good for security but does limit things.

Much more premium materials, no gash touchwiz, a smoother and more appliance like OS, better apple integration, TIMELY+ CONTINUED SW UPDATES :p.

And this is from someone who has never bought an Apple device and prefers Android :D

The "premium" materials thing has always been rubbish. It's a bit of glass and metal, they're not premium and they are more prone to damage.

Glass isn't particularly expensive, neither is metal, plastic isn't exactly cheap either especially polycarbonates and IP molded parts.

Pre order email just came through from Samsung.
Availability 25-9-2013.
SIM free price £649
Galaxy Gear watch £299 :eek::eek:

I've cancelled my pre-order with Expansys. Decided to wait a couple of weeks to maybe a month because if history repeats itself then I'd be saving £50-£100 by simply waiting up to a month.

Looking back, pre-ordering a phone that is unlikely to be out of stock (unlike the S3 sales when that came out!) at any point seemed a bit too impulse.

Seems the Thai one is the Octa version. Hmm

Well I Dont want to cancel mine, Samsung wants 650 so the price of £589 isn't bad from expanses

Hopefully it will be sent as soon as Samsung says its released otherwise I will cancel it and buy it on the 25th at my local phones4u store

il be waiting to see what three offer. they had the note 2 cheaper than most when it released. so hopefully the same thing will happen with the note 3.

Any news on the N3 having the new locked bootloader? Chainfire's talking about knox security and e-fuses in the hardware that blow and set a flag that voids the warranty if you flash a root or custom roms.

So expansys contact me to inform me that they wish to take payment.

What they neglected to say was that the price has increased by £30 to £619

I'm not best pleased about that as I could properly get it from local phones4u for cheaper... So will ignore the email for a few days
