****The Official Note III Thread****

Shame i cant use mine fully :( some reason the sim card will not register to the network at all, cant even ring 191 for vodafone :( ill have to pop back into town and see whats happening with it - but im loving it so far, screen and the whole device is a big step up from the S3 i9300 it replaced.
 
Hi, got mine today, black, 4g 32gb sim free, coming from a S4 and i love it, screen is amazing, and dont feel its that big, aint had much time to play with it had to do a few updates though, need to set everything up as well, but love its design, now to sell the S4

1 thing i notice, i have both s4 and note 3 on auto brightness exact same bar all the way, and in complete darkness the s4 seems brighter

I moved from an iphone4 to the S4 and loved the increase in screen size. I'm wondering whether going even bigger would be a good move. Or is this just too big.

i just moved from a s4 to note 3 , was also worried about size but its not a big deal, also not heavy either love the back case feel, screen is great for browsing and watching videos

Yeah it will be because the Note 3 has much better brightness control. In darkness the screen should be as dark as possible, conserves more battery and is easier on the eyes. In sunlight the Note 3 will be much brighter than any other phone as well.

i tried to test how fast usb 3 is, my usb 3 stick is much faster, anyway to make it faster, i also found the s4 used to me slow as well, anything in settings i can make it transfer faster as usb 3 is faster this i know, i have a sandisk 64gb extreme class 10
 
when will youtube have HD over 3g, with this screen you can tell the quality difference , with 4g coming they have to make a option for it, even my 3g can handle HD streaming no problem,

i know there is a mod, but surprised they have not done it officially

Anyone tried the Samsung Smart Dock with the Note 3? Would love to use the Note 3 on a 1080P monitor with wireless KB and mouse.
 
Anyone have a link to the latest widgetlocker apk? I bought it years ago via play store but it doesn't show up when I search for apps on my Note 3.

No Sky Go yet either.
 
Just wondered if anyone can help.. I'm trying to watch football streams and have downloaded flash 11.1 But I can't get the streams to load.. Sky fire Just crashes and other browsers Won't load the stream.. Any ideas?

I didn't completely try it, but I did try popping my Note 3 in my mates Samsung Smart Dock he has for his S4, and the immediate issue is more that the micro USB connector is a pain to locate, and offsets the phone.. they need to really have a micro USB 3 dock connector, that would make it much easier to locate.

I felt like I would end up breaking the dock or phone just by simple mis-alignment..
