The Spigen is nice (handled it on the S4) but does not provide the same level of grip as the stock battery cover though.Obviously from a edge protection point of view it's great and covering up the bezel gaps for those who have them.
 
I got a cheap gel case for my Note 3 for about 3 quid and it's great - got a good quality screen protector with it too. I got a fake case with the window and opening/closing it was a pain in the backside - I'm so glad I didn't go for the official one!
 
Seriously tempted to go for a Note 3, just holding out to see what the Nexus 5 might offer. Seems like everyone who has a Note 3 loves it though and the Nexus 5 will still most probably be a more 'budget' device.

Ok guys, why am i so paranoid with this phone i dont know personally, but i seem to be picking it apart left right and center, but im now paranoid about how warm this thing is getting especially the camera itself getting very warm, this is just with browsing the net and not doing anything taxing or even reading gmail....anyone else have this or at least put my mind at ease.

Have a diztronic case on the way and my spigen neo hybrid slate was shipped yesterday so hopefully tomorrow ill have that so i can finally hide any gaps lol

Should add, its around the camera and the camera itself its getting warm even though thats not in use.

Been using mine the last hour for web browsing, youtube and a bit of 3D Gaming and here's my temps:

30 degrees tops - that's pretty normal, and actually quite good. HTC One would get to 40 degrees with that use.

I've ordered the same case. It was a toss up between that and the Spigen Slim Armor for me but I went for the Neo Hybrid in the end.
 
I am looking at this case or the S view, If you have a screen protector do you need to protect the front? I know its better if you drop it

What do you mean by protecting the front? The S-View cutout area has a plastic window on there if that's what you were asking :P
 
Hi, any one tried mhl hdmi cable with this ?

i have bought a third party one from ebay , its MHL 2.0 and says for note 3 with 1080p 60fps, i plugged it into my 55inch samsung 2012 model, so no screen mirroring :( , i get screen full 1080p but its at 30p so its not very smooth, i tried it on a 27inch monitor which is full HD but it gets only 720p but runs at 60fps

probably best getting the original or if anyone can recommend a third party one ?

Try disabling Google now. Recent updates have increased battery use it seems. My battery is at 84% right now after unplugging at around 7:30 this morning. usually I'd expect 65% around now on a work day.
