I have just received my Spigen. First impressions - decent level of protection, looks great, but the grip is poor, not worth the £20.00 I paid for it. I think the outer plastic box that it comes in and the over the top 'authenticity' barcode probably costs 20% the overall price.

Try disabling Google now. Recent updates have increased battery use it seems. My battery is at 84% right now after unplugging at around 7:30 this morning. usually I'd expect 65% around now on a work day.

Yup i agree with this, got mine this morning, decent fit and looks ok, doesnt seem to add much to the overall weight but adds a bit of extra bulk.

My only gripe with it so far, in the top right corner of the TPU/rubber part theres a cutout for nothing, when assembled and on the phone this part isnt secured and looks messy as it just flaps open as its not secured by the plastic insert/bumper or whatever you call it.

Loving my note with some taskar profiles setup for my in car bluetooth.

Have it set to run google maps and open spotify when it connects to my incar blueooth then close's both the apps when it disconnects which works fine.

Few things i cant figure out. In Settings -> Connections -> location services ->My places. I have the car profiles location set via the bluetooth in car. Which when i start the car and the note connects it goes in to handsfree mode which is what i want but is there a way of getting rid of the S-Voice screen where i have to say 'Hi galaxy' etc etc or is this part of the handsfree mode?


Another thing which could be my cars stereo but never used to happen with my iphone. when its connected via bluetooth handsfree, When i get a call coming in the phone doesn't go straight to the ringtone i have set it starts with a notification kinda tone and then the ringtone i have set slowly fades in.....Is there anyway of turning this off?

received my spigen neo hybrid today, to be fair the postage stamp says 25th October so royal mail took 5 days to deliver this to me

anyway, i currently using a glass-m screen protector and a diztronic tpu case

first impressions of the spigen is it looks and feels like a premium case. the only only downside for me is the back is just too slippery, it also is bigger than the diztronic which for some may be a good thing as it may have more protection in a fall but the slimlineness (even a word?) of the dizzy is spot on

Hi, yesterday i got update notification a 116MB update - it was going slow so i canceled thinking i would run it today, i tried to run update says no update and also kies says no update so dont know what happened there . I'm on MJ3 at the moment

That was MJ6 - nothing special tbh.
 
Ordered the Moga Pro android gamepad to use on my Note 3. I've been checking various reviews on youtube and it seems by far the best solution if you are not rooted and want to turn your android phone into a portable games console. It is a bit pricey at £40-£45 however, I found it in stock today for £33.99 inc delivery (Promotional code: 3c9ki02z at game.co.uk).
 
Same Thomss, my Nexus 4 has been great but looking forward to the extra screen space. Just ordered mine at 2:55pm only to get an e-mail asking to update details just after 3pm so now delivery has clicked back to possibly being Saturday rather than dead cert for tomorrow. :(
 
Received the Neo Hybrid case today, overall I'm happy with it.

Anyone know anything about the annoying messages about security that keep popping up, they appear with a shield icon with Security Information and then a whole lot of stuff about an app attempted to access system on your device, which says blocked and then mentions removing apps from unauthorised sources...Funny thing is ive only installed 3 apps on mine so far, FB, dead trigger 2 and zombies vs plants2 all from the play store. Cant seem to stop them.

Oh should i install knox or not?
