I think you are alone lol, there is nothing out there that can currently rival this beast. The build quality on mine is perfect and I have none of the issues some members are reporting here, robust build and very strong network signal all round.

If you're having an elite moment surely you should go for the actual elite Note 3 rather than the merely perceived by some to be elite tiny screened ip5s.

Well, something has just kicked the backside out of my battery life.
Last week I had an update to my phone and 4G was introduced in my area. Over the last week my phone has gone from running for 2 days without charging to needing a topup when I get in from work. Something has gone horribly wrong and I don't know what it is. I guess I'm going to have to run some tests, probably starting with turning off LTE. Very annoying.

do you have better battery stats installed? to watch out for wakelocks?

As someone who's gone through an El1te moment, I can assure you, I'm so glad I didn't decide to jump ship over to the 5s. I got my unlock code from 3 yesterday so the phone is now unlocked to all networks and i've rooted and ran regionaway so this badboy is good to go worldwide for trips
. The thing that put me off the 5s was the smaller screen and battery, I can easily use my note 3 for 2 days without having to worry about looking for a charger.

I have checked my traffic counter and I can't see where there is loads of traffic - in fact, it's pretty low at the moment.
I'm going to try disabling LTE and see how that works tomorrow. I'm currently at 82% and the phone has been off the power for over 4 hours with minimal usage, so it's definitely still bad - not as bas as yesterday - when it was on 2% when I went to bed
edit: Just wanted to add that my battery stats indicate that Android OS has used 42% of my battery so far today - I had a similar problem years ago on my S2 after an update, so I'm going to assume it's Vodafone/Samsung at fault for now - fingers crossed for another update soon.

Have you given the phone a restart? I have had similar wake locks once or twice and after a restart it was fine.

Yeah, more than once over the last week. Normally my phone sits awake for weeks, but I've restarted three or four times.

Go into Google settings> Location > Disable 'Access Location'. See if that helps.
Do a battery pull too for 1min.
Or run battery stats for day and post a few screenshots here.
