£600 is my bet too. 650 I don't see since that would be 600 dollars to 650 pounds which I can't see them doing. £550 would be alright, with anything near £500 a nice surprise.

Yeah 550 is about my limit. And even then I'm not certain, hopefully some good benchmarks and make it more definitive. Road tax is due after all :(

What Nvidia say it should sell for and what retailers sell it for are not always going to be the same thing though.

GPU launches are like shooting fish in a barrel as retailers know some people will pay well over the odds just to have the new shiny thing.

Read today that only the 'Founders' (Milking) Edition is releasing on the 27th. The custom boards don't have a launch date yet sigh'. The price is set to be £550 ~ £600. The custom cards around ~ £500.

Who will shell out for a Founders (Reference) card that costs more than a better custom design just to get it early?

Someone plz hide my wallet :P Must remains strong and wait for 1070...

someone with a small case with poor ventilation or SLI set ups.

People are mad to buy the reference kickstarter editions.

NVIDIA's reference designs are absolute cack compared with the good OEM designs ... and you'll be paying more for them than all but the absolute top of the line EVGA / Gigabyte / MSI cards.

If the reference 1080 is £550 then I'll be getting it as I do like the look of it, Any more and they can take a swan dive off the empire state as I'll end up getting the cheaper, Faster, Cooler, Quieter custom edition.

OK so if the 1080 can only do 2 way SLI due to the SLI HB bridges , does that mean the 1070 will still be able to do 4 way SLI due to using the older SLI bridges. :)
