Its only bad at night if i have to leave the pc on while its doing something, then i just cover it with a piece of paper. But its so quiet that you can forget it is turned on unless the screen is out of standby. :P

It does mean we are starting to see some non-reference cards though.

That is a postive sign and hopefully means we will see some non Founders Edition cards at a lower price.

Sold my GTX 980 and got a GT 710 now in my X99 system.

Now awaiting the 'massive' upgrade :D
 
rumor going around that Nvidia secured Tegra deal with Nintendo for their NX console, makes you wonder what kind of console nintendo is aiming at with an ARM soc, maybe it's the controller that could double as a handheld console, anyway E3 is around the corner, if this is true then it's a risky move, i dont think Nintendo fanbase would take another console with no AAA crossplatform ports, and there is just so many exclusives nintendo can pull out of their derriere.

Well as the Nvidia guy said there should custom cards in early June,so not seeing the point of the Founders Edition,unless they give you a free Weyoun Edition GTX1060 at a later date,LOL.

To my mind the founders edition are there for people wanting to put them under water since they are going to be the only reference cards.
