I expect all the initial AIB cards with have 1x8pin.

It always takes time for them to understand the chips in enough detail to sell the highest end cards with improved power, bios and binned chips.

Gibbo has just confirmed the ftw doesn't just have a single 8 pin

well its not love at first sight for me with any of these cards,
the Gigabyte one looks interesting but seems to have been photographed with a toaster

I like my cam toaster its never let me down not great photos but does great toast...

Looks like that Videocardz picture of the EVGA ACX 3.0 was taken from Hothardware. More pics here with small article on the card itself. Stays between 70-80 degrees which is decent news: http://hothardware.com/news/evga-ge...ed-avx-30-edition-and-gtx-1080-sli-sneak-peek shame they did not mention what it was boosting to with that.
