I think I'm going to wait until MSI reveal their 1080 at Computex. I understand it's subjective but all these cards look terrible.

Give me a black/red Twin Frozr any day of the week. :D.

Well wouldn't the reason being that the nvidia's FE 1070 is gimped on a hardware level re vrm's ect hence the power limit ?...
 
Almost on par can mean slightly fatser, which is exactly what we would expect and what the leaked benchmarks show. Either way the difference is meaningless.

I'm hoping the power limit is not in place to purposely widen the gap with 1080. The 1070 should clock like a champ.
 
Unfortunately, even if there is a 1080 around the £515 mark, i do not think for one minute think he will buy everyone one :p
