Overclocking Guide :-

Yeh but I have a feeling the 1070 is not going to be faster than 980ti...

But then as my 980ti is gone it seems silly to get another one now, and I am not getting one of those blowers, so hopefully there will be some decent cards are sane amounts!!!!!!

Seems like it is going to be close from the specs, but with liquid cooling its probably got the edge to overclock as the 980Ti hits about 1500 as the upper limit:

NVIDIA CUDA® Cores 1920
1506Base Clock (MHz)
1683Boost Clock (MHz)
Memory Specs:
8 GbpsMemory Speed
8 GB GDDR5 Standard Memory Config
256-bitMemory Interface Width
256 Memory Bandwidth (GB/sec)

and available elsewhere for 515 - I`ll have mine now thx legend ;)

Aww, you didn't read the small print? It was on OCUK only. Close though... ;):p

Boy that is one ugly card though I must say. I'd gladly pay more for one of the others, but I guess that was the point after all. If you're WC'ing and care not for OC'ing, then it's the cheapest route. You could always buy a backplate for the top card.

I could not find the 1080 strix on caseking?

Yeah all custom cards were up for only 10 minutes or so. I placed 2 orders. (first order was mistakenly placed via bank transfer & I've requested a cancellation)

While I was in the ordering process the price increased like 10€. In total I paid 820-ish €, which is the same as OCUK. I only hope OCUK distributes stock to CaseKing, with them being the same company and all...
