I thought **** it and went for an Asus FE earlier today and it's awesome!! Very quiet fan profile whilst keeping it around 80c and running it at 2Ghz to test (without any voltage tweaks).

Love it and a great boost in fps (just playing Division atm tbh, and will be for a good while)

It'll do til the Ti shows its face ;)

Nice, just pre ordered a 1080 FTW. I'm just hoping EVGA sweeten the deal with a free copy of Doom.

Just like the 1080FE, the 1070 range will be £409 for the founders edition, £349 for the clown and maybe slightly over £409 for the really high end AIB boards

Yup, initial pricing will be pretty high (hence me justifying getting a 1080 earlier). Surprised me tbh, thought I was going to have to put a block on it but it's pretty damn quiet!

Will probably live with it til Ti/Titan shows up :)

I couldn't wait tbh, and it's my bday next week so thought I'd treat myself ;)

Tried 980Ti SLi but the poor frametimes in Division really weren't nice!!! Single card is still where it's at...
And why not mate ...
I think I might have to upgrade my monitor while I'm at it. What are you using?
I know you always had a decent monitor setup.

The Ti will be interesting. I bet that will need some decent cooling on such a small area. Memory bandwidth will be less of a problem now. Law of diminishing returns might start coming into play now.

With the current pricing and the lack of competition I just can't see £320. I hope your right because SLI would be very tempting.

If you use the exact same scaling as the 1080 prices then the cheapest 1070 cards will be £320-£330. A direct conversion with VAT is about £315
