i really do suggest look at what players you have picked and their upcoming fixtures.

like a lot of people have choose shawcross, but have u seen stoke upcoming fixtures lol.
 
Anyone have any thoughts about Nasri? I've chucked him in but my mates an Arsenal fan and said he wasn't too sure about him.
 
Last season he was just coming back from a broken leg, and it took him a while to have any kind of impact. It's hard to know how well he'll do this time without having last season as a guide. He's looked in scintillating form in pre-season, and he may well be performing the Fabregas role for the first few weeks, as Fabregas missed most of the pre-season thanks to his world cup exertions. So he could do well in the early season despite us playing Liverpool first game. However I would fancy him to score less points when played out on the wings in Arsenal's 4-3-3 when Fabregas returns. I think Bale or Etherington/N'Zogbia are better value for money though.
 
He could play against Liverpool given that Song, Diaby and Denilson all have minor knocks and are injury doubts for the start of the season. Wenger does tend to play the big players for the big games if they are only 90% fit too, so it could well be that Fabregas plays against Liverpool.

I took him out of my team because I didn't like the risk though, plus first fixture he's unlikely to score many points :)
 
hehe I'll be delighted to be wrong if he does! I guess I'm just a bit pessimistic given we got a toughie for a first fixture...

(I should point I'm superstitious about putting Arsenal players in my fantasy team lol, I think it 'jinxes' them!! All very serious stuff!) ;)
 
I hate this decision period, for the last few weeks it was easy seen as there were no games coming up, now its serious business :(

To keep Fabregas in or to go for 3 8.5-10 players, in which case which one to drop in favor of Malouda :(

I take it most people here are picking as many United and Chelsea players as possible for the first week of the season? I've tried to avoid picking any Liverpool or Arsenal players because it's hard to know which way that game will go. The only players I'm a bit worried about having picked are Dawson and Bale, I just hope Man City take some time to gel as a team.

Oh and Shawcross is a good pick for the first week seeing as they are playing Wolves, I'll just sub him out after that if necessary!
 
Pre-season is so frustrating, I just can't make my mind up who to pick. I've lost count of the transfers I've made over the last couple of days. There are some tricky games in the first couple of weeks it's anyone's guess which Man City players will field!
 
Rate my new team pleae people ive changed it since i first posted.

Sorenson,Evra,Bassong,Hangeland,Bale,N`Zogbia,J.Cole,Gerrard(C),Tevez,Hernandez,Welbeck

In 3-4-3 formation, Reason gone for hernandez is because imo been UTD most impressive player and i think agasint newcastle be a good game for him to start. Welbeck because sunderland dont have many strikers and i think will play due to bents injury.

Subs are: Green,Foley,Sagna,Bowyer

I wouldn't be going for two Liverpoop players with the matches they have in the first two weeks. Hangeland isn't bad but with a likely draw then home to Man U might not be good.
