Although i don't know why the hell I'm doing it, Carroll WON'T play this weekend due to a thigh injury. If anyone has paul Robinson he's injured and Nani is still out.

I am considering him now that Carroll is out and I need a replacement.

Didn't do too badly over the Xmas period considering I missed half the transfer deadlines.

Am doing amazingly well this year though, temporarily up to 8th, I expect to slide down a bit once all the subs have been made and the gameweek closed.
 
Bought Rooney in yesterday, got injured today (or whenever). Typical. Fortunately I realised and replaced him with Torres but that cost me.

Hopefully Torres (C) and Adams can do some damage with their double plays.
 
Bloody hell! I take Nani out of my starting 11 after 2 weeks of not playing, and he bloody starts, assists and scores!!! Last on my sub bench too. Thankfully C Adams and DJ Campbell who I brought in will serve me well this week.

I just removed him as my captain for this week!!

43 with VdV, Nasri, Drogba, Elmander, Bosingwa and Carrol to play, with Dann (8) coming in if one of them doesn't play. So far so good :)
 
charlie adam is my captain already got me 8 points so far
hopefully 20 - 2 points for appearing in the next game to make it 10 x 2
if that is how the game works

liverpool and blackpool have double games this week (well now and 12th jan)
 
No, Cahill's out for the Asian cup afaik.

How is it that Adam always gets bonus points? They lose 2-1, he doesn't even get an assist or goal and he gets 2 bonus points. Conversely Dann gets a winning ET goal in the same game and he doesn't get any. I have Adam so I'm not complaining but the mind boggles!

The OPTA stats explain all, not to mention Adam hitting the post.

Adam is the heart of Blackpool, most touches of the ball, most passes and long balls, which comes into the equation of bonus points.

The bonus points have been a bit dodgy in the past few weeks though especially Nasri getting none against Birmingham.
