Surely, brand name is fine? As the name is usually the brand? For example, 'Old Speckled Hen' is a brand of beer from Greene King. Would that be allowed?
Brewer name is a bit more obvious, and makes sense. For example, Odell's IPA wouldn't be allowed.

Valid point mate, It's Brewer ONLY! I'll update rules/guidelines.
Wait what my beer name starts with o and has been submitted no changing the rules as we go now to suit

The rule hasn't changed. What DJ is saying is that only the brewers name doesn't count.
