Well we are now in "New" Britain, we can drop the Great as Scotland & Northern Ireland we leave to rejoin the EU.

Its going to be an interesting decade.

Well on the whole brexit is good for us. Nice turn out of strong minded electorate. And a nice sight to see and hear. The demise of David Cameron. I knew his day would come :p

I would have been angry if a bunch of left wing cowards too scared to really vote with their heart and voice their concerns to appease the social media crowd and get more likes, would have potentially messed things up for everyone if it went the other way

Noticed how I made a sweeping statement there? Not nice is it...
I didn't say ALL leave voters were hateful, but again - if you dont think that xenophobia played a really key part in getting this vote passed, then you're being naive.

And nothing would have 'messed things up for everyone' if we remained. Not like we were on some landslide to failure at the time where some kneejerk drastic action needed to be made pronto.

I think a lot of vote leave voters are in for a shock. I quote someone from my wattsapp group

I think this post answers a lot of questions on why Britain voted leave. This a is a genuine post from someone I know, is a builder.

Wait until he sees the stock market for construction companies.

Nope. Most of the leave voters seriously thought that the other side would win a close vote. They were still desperate to leave with their own reasons.

I'm REALLY HAPPY now!

This is a great day for Great Britain!

Arise Sir. Nigel Farage!!

You really can't barrage the Farage, he's the real hero here as he forced this whole referendum. So glad I could do my small bit and vote out. :)

RIP Cameron & and Euro, though I did read that the vote is not legally binding so technically tbe MP's do not have to accept it, could lead to more legal battles etc.

That'd be one way to get a really poor deal. Nobody in Europe would want to help him.

By your posts here today you sound like your going to top yourself. Get a grip.

Nigel Farage knows them better then any UK MP. We won't get a poor deal.
If your that worried move else where and be happy with yourself. I did in the thatcher years.

While watching the polls late last night I got an email saying a Blink 182 preordered song was ready for download on itunes.

Eerily enough it was titled "No Future" - Lets hope this was just coincidence! :p

Decade is about right, they will still have to apply and meet all the terms to join the EU. Do they meet them at the moment?

Apparently some noises coming out of Europe don't want this long drawn out and on our terms.

The Brexit may become a lot sooner than Cameron expected.

Really badly thought out from the beginning, I simply cannot believe that no plan by Government was in place for this out come.

A Referendum is just an opinion pole. Theres nothing legal about it at all.

Its now up to the Government to enact/repeal the laws in order to make things happen. However, not doing what the Referendum decided is political suicide so its unlikely they would not go with it.
