lol.

Farage must be included in any new government now as well. Without him this brilliant sequence of events would not have happened.

Brilliant. Yeah.

Cornwall may have received that, how do you think the North east does? Replacing the current lot with the likes of Gove, Johnson and Farage (See, Speak and Hear no evil) isn't going to exactly make our region any better off. Future deals with Europe... That'll be interesting.

No, the campaign of fear, lies, scaremongering, division, and scapegoating won instead. What a pity "the people", as you put it - a 3% majority is hardly the people - didn't see through that instead.

A campaign of false truths, misquoted figures and a main aim of simply 'keeping them out' is far better? EHIC will most likely be gone, along with our own freedom of movement in the EU, that's before we think of students.

Whats this for a re-run? :D

Cant they just accept the votes have been done,Were out simple as that.

Yeah. If theres less than 75% turnout and a closer than 60/40 split in the results then the Referendum can be rerun as the results are deemed to not conclusively reprisent the nation.

I've never felt so proud to be British! I'd like to thank all my fellow Alpha males here that didn't give into the fear and switch sides like our poll shows.

Good job to Jack fighting for your remain side so hard until the very last.

And lolzethor

Indeed. Glad it's over, but hope the division doesn't cause further issues as we are clearly a divided nation.

All the fear mongering on both sides. I think for a lot of people it was one or a couple of issues sealed their vote & the vast majority voted with the countries best interests at heart. I certainly don't begrudge the remainers their reasons.

You'll soon be English rather than British if the scaremongering is true ;)

My Facebook feed is interesting, the people I would typecast as intelligent and successful are disappointed with the result, and the ones who'd I'd typecast as less intelligent and more working class are happy. Has anyone else noticed the same?

Well that's the council isn't it.

The people of cornwall do not see this money in their pocket so it might as well not exist to them.

When issues turn up it will be time to blame the council.

Ho ho ho.

I suspect there is some fanciful thinking that government will keep all those grants going which the EU was distributing to specific causes.

Both campaigns were awful. At the end of the day Remain didn't do enough to get enough people to vote for them.

I didn't get the result I wanted, but then I didn't at the last election either. That is democracy for you. Sometimes it doesn't go your way.
