Working out when best to announce he's resigning I should imagine.
More like preparing an austerity budget with duty rises.

Just under half the population who voted do not think it is quite so clear; however, we are where we are, and I really really hope that whoever leads the negotiations does a good job. They have a massive task on their hands, and I hope for all our sake that we've not just made a very big mistake.
My heart says it is a mistake. I won't be surprised if we fall into heavy recession, suffer heavy unemployment, see the NHS brought even further to its knees, and immigration to still be mishandled by our dear leaders. I'm also expecting the Tories to have a field day deconstructing all of the EU laws that offered workers much greater protection, increased consumer rights, etc etc.
Let's not also forget that this now has a extremely high chance of being the catalyst for the break up of the UK.
We're now in a situation where we've undone 40 years of progress, staring into the abyss. I do not have faith in our own government to guide us away from that. I honestly hope I'm completely wrong.
If you honestly believe that xenophobia played no part in the Leave vote winning out, I dont know what to say.Either that or remain are now ascribing every leave vote to racism, bigotry, screw the establishment etc.
Maybe people voted because they thought the UK would be better off outside of the EU......
OF COURSE we do. We never wanted this damn referendum in the first place.
Yup saw that. Cant believe leavers diddnt think about this
People are accepting that the result is leave but they are free to express their concerns and fears.
Stop treating this like a football result and be a bit more mindful that the other people on this forum will have businesses, family and economic investments that will be affected by this. There has even been a poster on this thread already saying that their company has announced their intention to move on a leave result.
It is one thing to argue a point but another to tell people to stop crying and move on when they are just expressing their concerns for the future. If you dont want to read the concerns over the result of the referendum, why are you here?
This is not an i told you so thread.
The FT's thoughts on the result:
I feel very lucky that I had the privilege to work all over Europe in my 20s and early 30s. It made me a better person, with a broader perspective on life. It's a shame that a new generation won't have the same level of opportunity. Britain will be poorer for it.

Cameron is going to look like a socialist in comparison to who comes next!!
You've just got to get a visa soon. Now stop crying and get a grip.
I've just listed three undemocratic institutions the UK has 'at home', each one consisting of unelected officials with more power than EU bureaucrats.
What was your point again?
Farage: We won 'without a single bullet being fired'.
Trying telling that to Jo Cox's widower you xenophobic pos.
I think if the leave side lost they would just accept it and be a bit more mature about it.
It's not just about money ffs
