If this revote petition goes through parliament after reaching 100,000 petitions, could there actually be a chance of a revote?

If so, what the **** is the point of voting?!?

If Scotland leaves and Ireland leaves, it might as well be this...

Apologies for bad edit but all I have at work is MSPAINT :D

Schengen visa.

I've just realised...I'm dual nationality British and Irish I have two passports...

My Irish passport will allow me free to move within the EU :p

TBH I wasn't sure it was ever something we should have voted on and almost didn't bother or want to but the utter smug rudeness of the remains on this forum probably drove me to vote more than any MP on either side. ;)

I'm not a Cameron fan but don't think he should resign either. Any-more than I think any of the remains should be out of a job on either side. They had a debate and lost, taking the ball home really isn't needed.

Not bothered if the Jocks want another vote, they wanted to stay with us and because this didn't go their way they now want out, good **** off. Let Germany fully prop you up instead or whoever else is left after other countries vote.

Cameron's legacy now will be one of a ******* who gave a referendum to get elected which then cost him his job. I still don't think it's a choice we should have be given based on the amount of real facts available.

They already said that they would honour this referendum. they would just state that the result is what it is and that the people had spoken.

It is just as funny that they scream for a revote when they would be smug in their beds if the numbers were reversed and would be belittling the leavers even more if we asked for a recount.

Well it helps if you have a PLAN before you shake up the world and invoke change. Otherwise you're just playing with fire.

Most people who voted Leave want change, that's for sure. I suspect you'll find that most people who voted Remain ALSO want change.

I don't think many people on either side were happy with the status quo. But at least half the country don't think a relatively blind leap into the unknown is a healthy or safe way to bring about change. And it seems at least some of the other half are now beginning to wonder the same.

Sometimes you just have to chuck the cards up in the air and see what happens

We are stupid seriously, so any poor disfranchised people voting to leave they don't release for the poor on benefits in particular it's just going to make their life harder.

Feel free to describe yourself as stupid. I assume you mean 'realise'? As for how the poor see it, I think they've realised that whatever happens they're worse off, and you can't blame them for thinking that way. So they've opted for a change.

GB got kicked out of the EU not by the 'stupid and poor' as you term them but by the rich, greedy, power-hungry ***** you voted in support of.

They just couldn't share a bit could they?

You hint at selfishness and short-sightedness from the poor, I wonder who they learned who they learned those traits from?

The racists, bigots and morons will go mental.

Thats a massive question though, even if it is in the best interests of Britain.

You can't keep waiting for perfection because often people don't want to discuss what that might look like and whilst they take the 'slow and steady' approach nothing changes and people become disenchanted. If, as has happened, you MASSIVELY miss that sentiment then revolution takes over.

This is what's happened, to late to moan we are where we are. People were more convinced with the leave than not leaving story, both we full of lies, misdirection and assumption and you know what, the politicians got their citizens emotions and AGAIN took them for granted, missed it completely.

Those that didn't vote are irrelevant, we had an all invited vote and exit won. Thems the cards dealt, so what next? Moan and debate what should have happened, point fungus and tell everyone who said leave are stupid bin divers with no brains, or start working out what the future looks like.

Be clear, it's in our hands.

Some of the comments are beyond belief really. I've not seen anything that tells me why they think remaining in the EU would have been a good idea - just a general assertion that Leave = racists (presumably because of all the non-white immigrants from eastern Europeans coming over  )

I've genuinely felt uncomfortable at work today because I voted leave. I'm not racist and I'd like to think I'm not a complete idiot. My decision was my own and I came to it after an evening talking through the options with my friend and his Dad. But because I work in a very much remain workplace, I've been made to feel like the proverbial black sheep that committed genocide of the lambs. If remain had won, I would never of made my workmates feel ostracised for their vote, but I'm sure there would have been people who would have. I do wonder if instead of Cameron saying "I want to remain" he said "You have the decision and I support whatever the British public decide", whether we'd of had a different result...

He only fixed the economy and made the country more secure. Not like he did much

The referendum did backfire but he campaigned for what he believed in and I honestly feel he's a good guy.

I think millions, from either side would disagree with you.

Did you feel sorry for him this morning?
