Your rhetoric is incorrect. I'm not (personally) in any pain, bar some losses on the stock market.

I feel more for those that are currently on the edge of their own financial stability and may lose out as a result of today's referendum.

Following discussions with numerous people who are well versed on the subject, I am confident that the prediction of rising mortgage rates will reign true.

The real sadness is the pride you feel when you sit upon your high horse.

Plebs made you lose money? Ouch, I bet that burns.

We can all see your sad(smug)ness.

The real sadness for you is a double whammy, you losing money and the plebs having cheaper mortgage rates.

Hang on a sec - just a few days ago on another EU referendum thread you were harping on about how age isn't relevant whatseover, and that people shouldn't be using their age and experience to prove a point in this referendum:

That's quite a remarkable level of hypocrisy now that it actually turned out you were incorrect with your initial assertions, but now trying to add credibility to your argument by insisting that age IS in fact relevant.

Just stunning logic there mate

I am quiet taken back and blushing a little as you took the time to look back at my posts and feel I have an important role in this discussion.

Thank you it is quiet flattering. :D

He was posting pure BS, banging on about the war.
This is here and now not 60 bloody years ago, he did not fight for the EU or the common market.

To be honest I am ashamed as country we cannot pull our socks up and deal with it.
The lily livered university indoctrination seems to have got to some folk.

I like the tears. :D

By the way I don't want be a **** and it begins with T, can we all just move on now to a brighter democratic future and just get along. ;)

There are too few voters plus the turn out was low for any tactics like that.

Well the low turnout favoured Brexit more than Remain. So it could be part of the tactic, passively and subtly tipping the scales and setting up the conditions for another independence vote.

But it's just a hunch. I'd be interested to hear from anyone in Scotland why the turnout was relatively low (compared to elsewhere in the UK).

It was confusing me for a minute, was sure I wasn't that tired to forget one of my posts! :D

It seems I had some kind of weird seizure involving the multiquote button.

Be assured that self flagellation has taken place and the mistake will not be repeated. :D

I think it would be very dangerous for a Scot to try and get an EU leave vote with the idea of a referendum coming off the back of it. Far less risky to stay in and sit it out for a few years until having another go at independence.

You're assigning the notion of "plebs" to me via some inference that doesn't reflect reality.

I have never referred to anyone as a "pleb", and shall never. I feel no disdain for the money I lost today as frankly it matters nothing in the grand scheme of things.

It's clear that rather than have a well rounded discussion with opinions based on fact you are simply, just a troll.

if only it was going to be a brighter democratic future

we'll now end up with a completely split "UK" - ok there will be no "UK"

and a completely split country

there is now potentially a good 16 million super annoyed people out there

ok you could argue there would be 17 million super annoyed people if had gone the other way - but somehow staying status quo seems less abrupt than going against it

to me - if we loose Scotland and NI - it seems daft to try and be GB or "UK"- I'd prefer to let Wales go on their way and be purely "England"

don't get me wrong I'd prefer the whole of UK to be United - but "England and Wales" - doesn't ring right for me

e; Interesting. It seems that telling the truth is against the forum rules. ;)

anyone thinking of getting a mortgage now in the uk? im not now. dont think i will invest in this country again or want my kids growing up here

We are borrowing a bit more to top up financing an extension if that counts? Spoke to the bank earlier and they are still offering 10 year fixed rates at the same rate as Xmas.

We can just call it ****land when that happens.

But at least we will have our "sovereignty".

And where are you planning to go? There's anti-EU movements in all the EU countries (some of them make UKIP look like lefties!) and the US cares more about guns than anything else.

Maybe the middle east instead? :)

It's not a fact rates will rise, it is you trolling with your opinion, expert or not, that they will, trying to cause worry in those who voted against your vote. They are more likely to lower or stay the same.
