There never was 350 million being wasted on the EU. Nice to know your confidence in doing the right thing is intact regardless of facts though.

I dont need facts,I see what life is like for a lot of folk around my area,I see the young generation dont really stand a bloody chance these days in terms of Jobs (and decent well paid permanent full time jobs),Housing etc...something had to change...immigration was a reason i voted out,And no im not racist before anyone calls it.

But whats the point,There is no getting your point across with "Remainers" To me they are just pansies too scared of change or taking a different route "because they are comfortable so why rock the boat"..not everyone is comfortable!

Jesus, the way remainers are going on you'd think the European Union was the entire embodiment of this country, which is precisely the reason for voting out of it, too much control was being handed over.

We need to start article 50, reestablish a trading position, and get on with it. The worlds audience is looking at Britain and all this bickering and dithering is making us look a joke.

Good post!

In what ways do you see their lives being improved by this?

It definitely looks to me as if the remainers have been holding us back for years, they have no self-confidence or any belief in the country at all.

The whiny and entitled didn't get their own way it seems.

HAHAHA! No it wouldn't. It would have been a stream of TRAITOR comments and then the same kind of vitriol from the leave lot.

I'm already so fed up of the whole damn thing.

I voted out and whilst I wouldn't have responded in that manner I think you're spot on and that there would have been plenty of comments like that being thrown around :(

I'm joining your camp of fed up of the whole damn thing. It does however give me something to read to kill some time :D

In the sense of not acting like 3 year olds who have thrown their toys out of the pram. Not in the sense of lets forget about it all. We need to to focus on the next stages to recover

Many people feel they have been thrust into an extreamly uncertain situation.

People are worried about their business, job, mortage, pention. They have children and famlies to support, and life was already hard enough.

The benifits of leaving the EU are dubious and distant at best.

They are legitimately concerned and angry.

What do people want from moving on? What wouldn't be acceptable?

How would Leave voters feel if we kept freedom of movement?

Personally I wouldn't have an issue with it. But immigration was never an issue for me in a strict black or white sense. My only concern is that our infrastructure can cope with the population, but that really is an investment issue moreso than a control issue.

If anything i think people voting to leave are the pansies too scared of change.

Voting out was a regressive decision in my eyes. Globalisation is the way forward and is the future. Why do we want to head back towards closed borders and silly "us and them" mentalities. With the advances we now have in travel and communication it is backwards.

Is it difficult? You are damn right it is difficult, but i would much rather our country played an important and influential part in it.

I'm concerned and disappointed but I'm not going around insulting those who voted for what they believe in. I know it is uncertain but going for each others beliefs and insulting them is not going to make it more stable.

The biggest surprise for me was how easily people were convinced by politicians...
I'm genuinely interested in why anyone would vote to leave.
We have a second chamber of unelected lords and a royal family that can adjust/veto laws, so I really don't get the argument about the EU being unelected politicians imposing on us, leaving our politicians unchecked is not going to be good for anyone other than the elite, but they somehow convinced the working class to vote for it!
Reducing red tape was another nonsense I heard the UK loves it's red tape - it will just be different red tape - and will probably allow monopolies to be formed by lobbying politicians
The immigration thing again I think is a total red herring I think there is going to a huge disappointment in store for anyone that voted to stop immigration...

The demographics of the vote are really interesting, the old folk are going to be in real trouble when the NHS collapses and their pensions disappear

Myself it wouldn't bother me as based on what other non EU members have had to sign into that is part of the deal. So even though I voted out I did it in the knowing that it is highly likely we would have to keep the freedom of movement.
