Exactly correct, the bremain are the real racists and bigots. Immigration should not discriminate among ethnic lines it should be wholly based on merit.

But by that logic should Wales/Scotland (which are part of our UK Union) prioritise English people wishing to live there (or vice versa) over people from any other country in the world?

I take your point and there are definitely claims that can be made against the EU in that regard, but the language from Leave around immigration was interpreted as meaning less people and more housing, not being more fair around what countries the migration comes from.

I definitely feel that way. Britain once used to be known for it's ingenuity, resilience, and determination to succeed. The status-quo has changed and people begin acting like children as a result of being part of the EU nanny super state for too long.

Right sentiment, wrong target. Thatcher and her successors did a better job of demolishing this country's industry (and hence, for many, it's "ingenuity, resilience, and determination to succeed") than the EU could ever have achieved, even if it had wanted to.

English people can already just nip over the border and buy a property and move there if they wished, same vice-versa. The United kingdom is a full political and Socioeconomic union which gives the welsh, english, northern irish and scottish the right to move to any of the countrys as they please without restriction.

The united kingdom is essentially what the EU is trying to become.

OMG !!!

Are these remainers still going on ?..

Stop hoping and wishing it can change. It won't, we're coming out.
Just grow up stop throwing the toys out the pram. The majority of this Country have spoken. :D

Roll on the full exit.

shows how delusional leavers are

location "in the UK not the EU"

really ? know something we don't ? :o

Seen two better petitions: one asking politicians to keep us in the EEA and one asking Johnson and Gove to keep to their pledge of giving £350 million extra a week to the NHS.

I dont need facts,I see what life is like for a lot of folk around my area,I see the young generation dont really stand a bloody chance these days in terms of Jobs (and decent well paid permanent full time jobs),Housing etc...something had to change...immigration was a reason i voted out,And no im not racist before anyone calls it.

But whats the point,There is no getting your point across with "Remainers" To me they are just pansies too scared of change or taking a different route "because they are comfortable so why rock the boat"..not everyone is comfortable!

In all honesty I absolutely understand and feel your pain but the problem is very simple.

Those problems are not the fault of the EU.

They are the fault of our own government not just this one but previous ones as well , lashing out at the EU simply played in to the hands of the politicians in this country who lied to you about those "facts".

I am not in any way saying the EU is perfect or does not have serious issues and some people did vote to leave because of those and that I can understand and respect, but those issues barely got mentioned in our so called debates.

However our politicians and the media on both sides have treated us incredibly badly over this whole referendum and that is what is making me furious.

Ah, so they're converging on some sense, I see. Quite a few people are spamming links atm, not really sure or have the time to go through them all. But their pleas are very dramatic.

It's sensible to have close ties with the neighbouring countries, it prevents costly squabbles over territory and resources.

I'm a bit shaken tonight - my best friend of over 17 years, today said over the phone that if I voted remain (which I did) he wouldn't come over ever again. No sarcasm, I could sense the hatred in his voice.

Luckily he doesn' know who I voted for but find his attitude senseless as he isn't even registered to vote yet harbours such hostility it's scary.

On a slightly more cheerful note - he thought China was in the EU. :D
