I'm not a fan of the modern Lego. The fun was in taking all the random pieces and creating something unique. Now these new packs just look like any other toy prior to assembly.

£49. Agree with the above though. The custom moulded parts take away the whole experimental factor that gave kids BRAINS back in the day.

Yeh I know the feeling. Technic is even becoming a bit rubbish at times. Still gonna ask for some at Xmas though!

I had the car chassis about 27 years ago and loved it, saw it on a carboot sale but got frowned at by my missus when I took an interest in it. IMO modern lego kits aren't a patch on the old ones but look a hell of a lot cooler
