This thread has tweaked the nipple of creativity within me!
I shall build <DRUM ROLL>

... a large red Liverbird. As a big LFC fan I think it would be a fitting way to "recycle" all my old red Lego bricks. Been looking for a "project" for a little while and i reckon this is as ridiculous as they get!

Cool, if you're not already aware of it I suggest you check out bricklink, great for picking up any specific bits you want.

Hmmm well its selling for £200 so if you have no intention of building it...shove it on ebay and sell it for £200 and see if it gets snapped up.

Otherwise ill give you £20 for it

Don't take that price as representative of it's value, that's way over priced. As an example there are several on bricklink now for $150 or less. It's still a relatively recent set too.

I had loads of lego of various forms growing up. Some of the normal stuff but mostly space and techinc.

I do now have the Collectors Editions of the X-Wing and Tie Fighter in my office and I have the Collectors Edition Star Destroyer (although that's unbuilt as I have nowhere to put it!)

I would like the Millenium Falcon set but space and finances don't allow currently ...

I have two nephews 6 and 9 and they both love computer games and nothing else, boy are they missing out on Lego and Technic.

Oh the joy from returning from a long hard days work to find my mummy had secretly been 'collecting' vouchers through the paper for FREE Lego. I had seen this weeks ago, but seems mum has collected 2 lots. One for me aged 28, and one for my nephew.



They are very cool, kinda don't want to open them and leave them all in the box? but I'm itching to play with them, and see what I can create out of all the parts!

RE: the F1 car posted earlier, they have this on the production floor of the LEGO plant

and I popped in the LEGO store and came out with this!!!!!

Shame I cant say anything about LEGO Universe MMO as I had to sign an NDA, but it's shapping up nicely in a "WoW" sort of way!
